We have not only advised on IT. We have operated systems, led teams, planned budgets, and been responsible for international projects ourselves. This means we look at decisions from the perspective of management as well as the teams that have to implement them in daily operations.

After our work, systems should be documented, responsibilities understood, and the next steps prioritised. We only recommend what can be operated with the available team and budget. If support is needed during implementation, we stay involved.

WITAS is Thomas and Andreas Woitischek. We are brothers and together bring more than 40 years of IT experience from two different perspectives. We founded WITAS because we had both learned the same lesson: IT initiatives rarely fail because of the concept, but because of the implementation. That is why we combine strategic advice with responsibility for delivery. From the first conversation through completion, you work directly with us – without a separate sales team or handovers.
Thomas Woitischek
Thomas has worked in IT for more than 15 years and understands the field at every level: from System Administrator and Senior Lead IT Systems Engineer to Vice President IT and Chief Digital Officer of an international technology company. He has built and led global IT and DevOps teams, migrated cloud infrastructures, and been responsible for security and automation projects. Alongside his work, he is completing the Professional MSc in Management and IT at the University for Continuing Education Krems.
Focus areas: IT strategy, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, automation, and building and leading IT teams.
Andreas Woitischek
Andreas has been responsible for IT in international corporate environments for more than 25 years, including roles as IT Manager, Business Development Manager, and IT Integration Program Manager. He has managed strategy, governance, budgets, risks, and external partners. His particular strength is bringing order to established, complex structures and making them manageable, secure, and reliable again.
Focus areas: IT governance, programme and integration management, budget and vendor management, and risk management.
